Ciara was the wrong choice!

Why didn't they get someone who could act and sing. Ciara isn't an actress and is barely a singer. I remember watching a special on MTV about her around the time she first came out saying that she wasn't even trained in singing and she wanted to a professional dancer, but in order to dance they said she had to sing. The scene with her and Lynn Whitfield on camera paraying for her brother to be ok was so awful, her fake tears were annoying. Lynn Whitfield probably wasn't happy with who they chose to play her daughter.
