aweful show with even worse writing and actors.
It was like watching a train-wreck....you knew it was going to be bad, but not this bad!

I only watched it for Katee Sackhoff, though before it even began to air in Australia I had a feeling it would tank. What was even funnier was that I barely watched it as my then boyfriend was wanting to spend time with me before he'd go to work (he used to do night shift when the show was on).
I know own the dvd but again it was only for Katee, as it cost $15 and I was bored.

Yah, there were some bright spots, but overall it could have been so much more.
I would have loved a "dark angel" meets Transformers kind of feel. darker, more gritty. Not the bubble-gum action and dialogue we got.
Oh well, it had its chance.

I recently finished watching the show- yes I was desperate for a cure to boredom and found a massive flaw, in my opinion anyways.
The show lasted, what, 7 pr 8 eps? Yet at the beginning she was against working for/with Burkitt then in an ep or 2 she was loving it. And when given the chance to tell her sister the truth she didn't.
Seems like they tried too hard to keep the sour taste in our mouth lingering on.
The good thing was Katee, other than that the few decent fight scenes.
But then again, what with all the remakes going on.. we may live see another remake of this show. Fingers crossed it's better than this version.

But yah, maybe they will try and make something else out of it. Such a shame.
Its like "studio 60 on the sunset strip". A really great show with some great talent, but somehow they just didnt seem to pull it off.
Then there are horrible shows, in my views, like Ugly Betty, that just seem to run on forever.
Yah yah. Thank God for The Wire, Sopranos, and my all time favorit West wing.

I think I have watched Ugly Betty 3 times max, mind you not even a whole episode just a few mins. That was more than enough for me, I don't like it.
Dark Angel was very good, I haven't watched The Sarah Connor Chronicles though enjoyed the first 2 Terminator movies.
Wonder how the show would have gone down if they:
A- Had cast Katee as Jaime.
or
B- Had cast an american as Jaime.
I think it would have been a nice change for Katee to play a different sort of character. So far I've seen her play characters that have been strong from the beginning so I beleive itwould have been good to see her play an innocent who became strong- mentally and physically.

watched the first episode " OMG katee sackhoff is The Bionic Woman... YES! this IS going to be good" and then the rug got ripped out and there's 8 episodes explained.
