Bionic Woman 2007 - failed on every level.

The only reason I'm on this post is I am re-watching the original Wagner series. I was a huge fan in the 70's
I was very excited when the new series was announced, was looking forward to it, and updated bionic woman what could be better!!!

I was bitterly disappointed on every level.

I loved Ryan back them but did not like a brit playing and American, just does not work.

We all loved the show because of who Jaime Summers was, the type of person she was, the new character was not likable, nothing like Summers.

The whole premise sucked and did not hold-up. The new bionic woman was not even bionic, she had Nanites injected into her and NOT limb replacements which is what made the original story so great part woman/part machine.

She could not even hurt a real person in fights her human opponents kept getting up again and again. Lindsay Wagner's Bionic woman would throw a bad guy into a wall or open palm him in the chest and he did not get back up. Ryan's character needed hand to hand training Wagner's was dangerous enough, she was bionic.

Then you had some horrible story lines very bad writing, crappy producing, horrible acting, and Isaiah Washington's character sucked the life out of every scene he was in, which was strange as he is a good actor.

From there it just went down hill....

If you watched the Sara Connor Chronicles Summer Glau's terminator character, you would have seen what a Bionic Woman should have been like (minus the terminator personality). Summer would have been the perfect Jamie Summers. Summers real personality would have been more likes Jaime's
