What do we want for Super Mario Galaxy 2?

I'll start us off.

1. Guppy the Orca

2. No Bowser as a villian.

3. Cameos from the other members of the SM cast like Wario and Toadette.

4. Mouser

"Super Mario Land" needs more love!

lets hear the classic "Birabuto" theme in there somewhere, along with Muda, Easton and Chai kindom inspired stages.

Don't look into the Death Star, or you will die.

Well, unfortunately, Bowser is no longer a convincing villain. A video game villain is supposed to be pure evil and be complex otherwise it destroys some of the fun. Bowser used to be pure evil. Even after Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, he made a comeback as a villain in Super Mario 64 and the first Paper Mario. Unfortunately, he spent this past decade going back and forth with allegiances--sometimes still the main antagonist, sometimes a morally ambiguous ally. That makes him chaotic-evil since, much to his chagrin, he developed some good in him. Still, as an act of crying over spilt milk (no literal crying, just "evil" laughing) he tries to make a comeback in pure evilness in Super Mario Galaxy by a plan too grandiose for him by attempt to take over the galaxy like an idiot.
I know you all consider him evil in this, but there is a huge flaw in his plan: sparing Peach to be his queen. This at least does make Mario more able to defeat him. I know there would be no game if it happened, but if Bowser KILLS Peach instead (believe me, Japanese kids have seen plenty of anime with deaths and graphic deaths that have nonetheless been censored for American kids), with all his attachments gone, he WOULD be pure evil and Mario would have less of a chance to stop him. But despite kidnapping Peach, Bowser can't bring himself to kill her. And in the end of the game, with that supernova, Bowser is almost killed with his intended victims until Rosalina/Rosetta sacrifices herself to stop it, but survives. With kidnapping Peach, which used to be bad for the Mushroom Kingdom and not Bowser in the old days since Princess Peach was the only one who can undo the evil Bowser did in the glory days of the franchise, Bowser's once-advantage has become his biggest flaw. Despite his attempts to create a new galaxy, he affectively inadvertantly foiled his own plan and endangered his own life with his intended victims. And instead of killing Mario, he has Magikoopa banish him! And since when would Mario be unable to find his way back?
But now, in Super Mario Galaxy 2, as I've done my homework about the game info, this time Bowser does his homework by finding Power Stars to make him considerably larger. And what does the Mushroom Kingdom do? They procrastinate at the Star Festival as does Mario, invited by Peach. Bowser is able to kidnap Peach again instead of someone, or at least Mario, finding a way to stop Bowser BEFORE he gets those Power Stars! I don't give a damn if this is a video game. That's the most lame excuse to start a conflict since Hiro Nakamura defied a message from his late father Kaito not to open up something and start a new conflict just because he was bored! Bowser getting those Power Stars could have been avoided especially given Super Mario Galaxy 1's aftermath. While Bowser can still be responsible for his defeat at the end, he might have a slight bit more of a chance to win.
Maybe if these another supernova or disaster, Rosalina should just grab him by the tail and throw him into it, killing him for good, THEN jump in and save the good guys! I know you said it wouldn't be Mario without Bowser, but Bowser has become too flawed to be a convincing villain, and video games villains shouldn't be flawed (evilness isn't necessarily a flaw for them). What happened in the games this decade, Bowser has been switching allegiences too much and really should just give up and admit he has compassion for the good guys rather than immaturely attempt to be evil again and risk his life! With Bowser as a permanent ally, we can at least have a new villain who would never develop more than a villain and remain evil to keep it a good gaming experience. Just like Robotnik/Eggman in Sonic the Hedgehog, Ganon/Ganondorf in the Legend of Zelda, King Dedede in Kirby, Andross in Star Fox, etc. It's too late for Bowser as a villain, but it's not too late for him to move on and admit that he has some compassion fo the good guys. Whatever selfish reasons he helped Mario in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Super Paper Mario for Wii, etc., he wouldn't have helped them if he was still pure evil.
