If Liz had Children. She should have left them too.

Think about it. In order to be truly independent. Mean you should take no responsibility for anything or anyone around you. You shouldn't care about how your actions affect others. Not to your husband, son, daughter, parents, brothers or sisters. It really helps if you have borderline personality disorder. Anyways if a woman really wants to follow her dreams. Why should she have to drag along two children who will be detrimental to your dreams. You know because you have to feed them, clothe them, pay for their Education. Just think about the small fortune that Liz would save if she just ditched her possible children too. Why shouldn't she do it too. If she wants to be truly independent. I mean that is not selfish or irresponsible at all. Also who does not want to leave their husband to have sex with a series of men who might have several STD's. Remember Herpes are Forever. Well that and Aids. And who wouldn't want to go to one of the poorest places in the world. Just think of the communicable disease you can catch. I hear having Cholera is awesome. I mean that sounds a lot better than becoming something that might be useful to society.

Who said Liz didn't care about her family? Her sister visited her in Rome. Just not in the film.

Your post makes no sense anyway - "if she just ditched her possible children"? She didn't have children, didn't want any, and on this overpopulated planet where many children are abused and harmed by their own unsuitable parents every day, that is no crime. Not everyone is suited to be a parent.

Aids? Herpes? What has that got to do with it? She didn't leave America "to have sex with a series of men". She had sex with one, whom she eventually married. Nothing wrong with that either.
