Towards the end of the movie, when the blonde sister of the slain pilot goes to a theater to get her haircut, was that intended to sell her locks to the bald Auschwitz survivor for her role? and that was so she can buy a gravestone for her brother.

Am I right? if not, please explain that part to me ... thanks.

oh and also, when the survivor takes off her scarf to show them her shaved head, saying "it wont grow after te camp, it was Auschwitz you see?" , the man ignores her and asks the Blonde "its a pity to cut them off; does your husband know?" I'm thinking 'what an A**Hole'!
