War criminals not pursued, but protected.

What really bothers me after seeing this is knowing that SS men from the concentration camps are still actively hunted down to this day and put on trial, rightfully, yet no efforts to track down NKVD men are in place. Surely there must be a handful of evil old men alive today who were involved in this massacre or one of the many others. I don't care if they're 100 years old, have arthritis, dementia or prostate cancer... if they were there and took part in killing anyone criminally they need their eyes carving out with a spoon, their genitals removing with a blunt bolt-cutter, dangling over a roasting fire for 5 minutes until medium-rare then throwing to the sharks, alive. Comrade Dictator Putin claims that "modern Russians are not to blame for Stalinism" – fine, I accept that, the same goes for modern Germans and Japs, but I blame him for potentially harbouring war criminals instead of producing the records of all surviving WW2 veterans for examination and letting an independent board question those whose location can't be confirmed. Any NKVD suspects should be processed, verified and killed for their complicity in heinous WW2 crimes: old age is not excuse to get away with mass murder. Their assests should then be given to Poland in compensation and their names publically declared so as to show the world that these veterans were not heroes, but scum, who murdered people behind the scenes and avoided joining the fighting units to save their own worthless skins. NKVD, Gestapo, Cheka, SS – they're all the same: Death Squads. To call them "police" or "security" is an insult to the real men and women who work to protect citizens without resorting to torture, killing or terrorism.
