IT IS AWEFUL......

There is no suspense, no scares, Sid Haig is terrible. Lesile is good in it. The old house isn't even scary. It looks like a film that some teenagers made, very amiturish... There should of been more of the kid ghosts, they were good.

1/2 a star out of 10.

I need to go to my local video store and see if they have this. I am a Sid Haig fan.

I agree with some of what you are saying. I was lured into watching this because I will watch anything that Sid or Bill do....I love them. I agree that Leslie was actually very good, and that Sid...well a good guy role is just definitely not for him. Not his cup o' tea I will go as far as saying so he just need not do that again please. I have definitely seen much more amatuer productions though and I thougth the house was creepy enough. I also agree on the kid ghosts...effectively creepy. I also thought the lead girl was decent as well.

***Spoiler****

One scene that was excellent was when Bill Moseleys cop character gets overcome by the killer and he is put in the "on your knees with a gun to his head position" and made to basically beg for his life... a total wink at HO1C fans....and he pulled off the scene very well.

Alexandra Holden was awesome, and so was Leslie Easterbrook. I think Sid has to get more comfortable in a good guy role. After all, not a lot of people have given him the chance to play that kind of person. He was good, I thought, but also seemed a bit uncomfortable. The nudge nudge wink wink with Moseley was a hoot.

In defense of Sid, he did have to endure being type cast as tough guys and harda$$es for eons, so it is kind of odd seeing him in a 'good guy' role. I thought he pulled it off extremely well - one of the better 'overprotective dad' performances I've seen.

Just the looks he was giving his daughter while she was on the porch made me feel like *I* was about to get grounded!!!

Sid stole the show, especially the scene where he has the shotgun and the pistol. It was cool seeing him be all happy and stuff.

F uck Pirates of the Caribbean, It's all about Spider-Man and Grindhouse!

The cocking of the shotgun one-handed had me impressed as hell. Plus, I've never had a dad so the porch scenes made me think I was about to be grounded. I feel bad for any girls with watchful daddies!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was funny how he kept opening the door.

I was excited to see this when I saw Sid and Bill were in it. But afterward I thought, "How could they have done this horrible movie?!"

"Uh, the world is your oyster. I mean because that's all the world is."
