What did you think were the weak points? From the reviews I've read, people that dislike this movie seem to dislike the same things about it, so I'm curious.

That seems to be one of the major gripes. I thought the main players were good, especially Alexandra Holden, but most of the non-major players were pretty bad. The Doctor was terrible. Overall, though, I liked it. It was a nice good oldfashioned ghost story.

What did you think of the doctor's performance?

Spoilers, I guess:
The character named Arnie was just unnatural to the story, it was like it wasn't needed. I also think Steven should have been a tad bit younger.

Same here, basically, but I liked it a bit better than you did--5/10 from me. Aside from some probably unavoidable low budget problems with the technical elements, the script and/or editing were often ridiculously choppy and the script and direction just didn't have much "finesse" . . . I kept rooting for it and it kept showing potential to be a better film, but it just ended up seeming more like a rough draft from a 10th grader.
