According to Chris Gore, the founder of a company called Film Threat, Halo Wars will be a real time strategy game. He went to one of Microsoft's branches to acquire information and showed footage of Halo Wars during E3 07 live. It was on just tonight.

Was anyone else aware that Halo Wars would be a real time strategy game? What are your thoughts? I was looking forward to another first person shooter, but I don't want to judge Halo Wars yet. I normally don't like real time strategy games but Halo Wars may be good.

I'm pretty sure Bungie is just helping out Ensemble studios with Halo Wars.

So, how about a game of chess?
