Not A First Person Shooter? Please Explain?

It's real time strategy(RTS)


You should go into the game and play the tutorial, it explains everything and explains it well, if you still don't get it, take the disc outa the xbox, put it back in the case, and return it to the store.


Now that i've done the being an ass part of this tutorial, first you make a base, them you make troops, then your fight, nuff said :)

If you are wondering what the game play of this sort of strategy game is like, it's basically this:


You have an over head view. You can control various units in various amounts (i.e. one soldier, 1 tank, 5 soldiers, 2 tanks, etc...). You select these things, and then select something else and hit the 'Attack' button. Your little army will attack that.

Obviously it gets much more in depth than that, but I thought I would try to explain it simply. Don't forget, you can always just search "Halo Wars gameplay" on YouTube.
