A Good film

My overall impression was this is a refreshingly decent movie. No great plot twists or dramatic climaxes. Just a decent slice of life with believable characters. The only thing I didn't quite buy was the relationship that developed between Mary & Alex, though I can see how in some universes that just might happen....

No great plot twists

A movie has to have a plot in order for it to have a plot twist...

The OP seems to find the lack of plot twists refreshing, so your comment is a swipe at an illusory target. No need to keep grinding that axe, flailing at thin air won't dull the blade.
