I didn't mind the movie but a couple of things bugged me: Firstly the daughter so shallow and spoiled. Secondly, the husband having an affair. Him and his wife seemed to have a strong happy marriage; thirdly the one he was having an affair with...you see her completely bored in one sex scene so why did she continue to sleep with him?

The parents tried not to spoil their daughter (ie: the $200.00 pair of jeans that the mom, at first, refused to buy her) however, in the end, they sure did spoil her because they let the daughter get away with her rude comments,etc.
I think that problem probably started a long time ago, when their daughter was probably very young, and then as she got older, they'd pretty much created a little monster, so it was hard for the parents to train the daughter to not be so superficial & rude.
Also they only had one daughter (an only child) so maybe that was another reason why their daughter became so spoiled. (??).
