This is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time, but the ratings on this site don't make any sense.

-Avg. rating (out of 44) women aged 18-29: 4.4
-Avg. for men (out of 88), aged 18-29: 7.5

-11.3% gave it a 1/10

Cmon, women aged 18-29...wtf?

And for those who rated this 1/10, what is your reasoning? Just because you dislike the main character (see previous postings), does not mean this is a terrible film. Open your eyes once in a while and try to have a little self-awareness, you might be surprised to find that the things you find hateful in these characters are in all of us...

That is really strange. I personally thought the film was great and can see how some people might not like it but a 1/10 - that is harsh! Didn't think so many people would really hate it. I am also curious to know why it has such a low rating.

I agree; it's odd. But probably has something to do with the average age/sex of the voters on this site.

You have to factor in the trolls. There are an abundance of idiots on IMDB, who just go around and give movies 1's because they have nothing better to do. That is why the IMDB rating usually offers little insight into a movies actual quality.

I found the film to be terrible. And I suspect many people associated with the film have endeavored to "review", and vote 9's and 10's, for it, for imdb. The film stinks.

It has a rating of 6.6; how exactly is this turd underrated?
One of the worst films I have seen in a long time.

I really enjoyed this movie.
However, it's the "style" Indie movie that some people might find boring (not me though).
My husband did not like this movie. He said it moved too slowly etc.(It's definetely not an ACTION FLICK).
However, since I like Character studies & Character drivne movies, I really enjoyed this movie quite a bit.
But it's not for everyone.
