Tennessee vs Ole Miss academically.

I'm a High School counselor in Florida. No offense Ole Miss students and grads, however, Tennessee is a stronger school academically than Ole Miss. Average ACT scores, SAT scores and High School GPA's are higher for UT students admitted than the students admitted for Ole Miss. BTW, I graduated from neither school so I have no skin in the game.

Well any college college counselor worth their salt will say fit is more important than stats.

Neither school is ranked in the top 100 unis. Ohr was also recruited by Auburn which is in the top 100.

Most D1 athletes are not at college to pursue academically rigorous majors. There are 3.0 gpa and 1000 SAT athletes at Stanford.
