Similarities to Children Shouldnt Play with Dead Things

I saw CSPWDT again last night it just realised how similar it is to Murder Party.

Both films are about arty types led by an OTT leader to perform a cutting edge act in a discreet location. Furthermore both films have a helpless lead character that in the end gets revenge. etc

Despite this both films are pretty different, just similar set ups....meh im a nerd.

Anyway just found this interesting.

Btw this isnt a dig, I prefer Murder Party.

I would also like to add, that I consider Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things one my favourite horror/comedies...and with time, I won't doubt that this may fall somewhere close to the top.

I simply loved this movie! Dialogue was intelligent and humorous...characters were unique and interesting...story was entertaining...all in all I had a great time watching this movie...highly recommended!
