Moments in Murder Party by Jack Handy

I didn't think it was a bad movie, but I'm a nice guy. Certain moments in the movie made me crack up. The part on the subway where the guy is rapping in the lead characters face, I laughed, I laughed hard. The part where he is being chased and his watch alarm goes off, funny. I almost shut it off but I'm sort of glad I finished it.

Same here...it lagged for a little while in there but the end was satisfying. I think the most hilarious moment was when that girl ate the pumpkin bread with raisins in it and passed out and got the big gash in her head. Also, there was something about him saying, "Sir Lancelot, I'd like to sit down please" that struck me as hilarious.

The movie was hilarious. Not the kinda goofy jokes so much like you'd see in a SNL movie. But situational comedy that was very sharply written with brilliant dialogue and creative situation. Like when the whole group shoots up Sodium Penethol (Truth Syrum) and gets into the groovy discussion about their personal lives, it was realistic and hilareous at the same time. Its also very well shot, clear, lighting, audio is great too. It doesn't look Amateur at all. The acting was as good as any Will Ferrel comedy, and better than most of the Hollywood trash bin comedies.

My favorite LOL moment though was when the Leader guy is high and looks around the room, notices the guy who confessed under the truth drug that he's Bi-Sexual and gets this kinky grin on his face, and then it jumps to him banging the guy in the puppet gallery where he'd previously had the Lexy girl. That was was just too funny, if Id have been drinking it would have come out my nose. There really were more LOL momments in this movie than I've seen in a long time, and I usually dont laugh at movies. Comedies I typically think suck all around, especially the ones that come out of Bollywood. The funniest flicks I believe are B-Movies that go straight to video. Another one VERY much like this movie is Satan's Little Helper. I really loved that one too.

The movie got a little boring during the chase scene. Or about 10 mins of it. When they get to the big art party though it quickly got fun again! This is a must scene party movie to watch with a bunch of your mates.

For me, the best jokes were what they called the "1%ers". Jokes only 1% of the people get.

My favorite was the MacGyver moment in the closet.

I know what you're talkin' about i.e. "the acid". Seriously. That took some creativity.

I couldn't stand Satan's Little Helper. The idea had potential, but in the end it never quite worked out.

Bender: I was God once.
God: Yes, I saw. You were doing well until everyone died.

I thought it was great personally. Granted it's silly, but I couldn't help but get a kick out of it.

Hellhammer kicks ass!

Personally, I thought this movie had 100 hilarious moments. I still laugh every time I watch it, and I've seen it many times now. My personal favorites that kill me everytime are

- the MacGyver scene. This is friggin hilarious and unique, if that doesn't make you laugh, something is seriously wrong with your brain

- the subway rapper (namely, Chris' face during the rap)

- when Chris is frantically looking for a cellphone, then walks down the stairwell and it pans to a guy in a cell phone costume. I can't explain why this sight gag makes me laugh so hard, but it is cut so perfectly that I laugh every time!

- When Chris wont tell his pun, and Alex says, "Hey, pass me that chainsaw for a sec..."

- Bill: "Well I didn't sign up for second-degree assault party..."

...and many more

The writing is sharp, the directing is well-done, and SO much of the humor works because of the great actors in it. The guys playing Alex and Macon especially had me rolling. Kudos to everyone involved with this movie, I frickin love it.

One of the funniest scenes is when Chris is in the closet and you see things that could be used as weapons and he just throws them on the floor and does a dodge move. Another one is when Alexander is injected with the truth serum and he says I'm a fry cook. This movie was very good but I will admit it is not for everybody, it is not a comedy that will go mainstream but I am sure the creators knew this. It is one of the best comedies people haven't seen.

Guy rapping in his face and his expression/reaction = classic!

Best LINE though would have to be when they are going around saying "puns" and main guy says he has one and says it. Then he follows it up with "you don't have to PUNish me"!!! That one had me laughing so hard!

The rapping guy was great. Chris' facial expression sold that scene.

I also enjoyed when Alexander introduced the game of extreme truth or dare.. "All the kids are doing it in Belarus."
