2 Art of War sequels made?

This is strange, and that one has Snipes actually playing Shaw
Even stranger that while Intervention and art of war 2 are both listed as sequels to the original, Intervention is not linked to AOW2 in the movie connections. Never heard of a film spawning 2 sequels that are not in any way connected to each other.

Sure there are others. Universal Soldier spawned sequels. Universal Soldier 2 Brothers In Arms was the 'direct' sequel with none of the original cast, and a re-written ending to the first film (and which has a further sequel) while Universal Soldier - The Return was the other direct sequel with Van Damme in it. Neither one of them were connected. BIA took the story in one direction by rewriting the ending of the original, while The Return stared one of the original cast and kept the original ending as its history. Most people consider The Return to be the true sequel to the original.

shareDon't forget Highlander. The second, third and fourth movies ones are all direct sequels to the first, and all star Christopher Lambert. None have any continuity to another movie besides the first one. The fifth one actually keeps the events of the fourth true.
Also of note, all sequels rewrite the ending of the first one.
