HGTV aired an edited version of this on Sunday night and it was such a wonderful surprise. A surprise that HGTV would air something high quality and the overall surprise of Pearl himself. I'm not a fan of topiary but I think that is because everyone is doing it by the book.

Most topiary looks like some sort of freak of nature, whereas Pearl's creation feel wholly organic. Pearl really is a treasure.

I'm watching it now on HGTV. Excellent. Reminds me of my grandpa, who also worked in a factory and enjoyed gardening. He would also trim both his hedges and ours; being in quality control, they were perfect, like Pearl's.

I appreciate HGTV showing this film. I never would have seen it otherwise. Thank you.
