Pee Wee's Playhouse in theme song

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a tribute (although I would not be surprised one bit since the show is filled with nods to the 80's & it's nostalgia) but YES I hear it too! No matter how many times I watch the show (which is many, MANY times per day as my toddler is a bit obsessed right now) for the first few seconds of the opening I ALWAYS think to myself, what is Pee-Wee doing on?!? You'd think my mind would be retrained by now?
