Does anyone else find that there are too many gaps in the story in the cut scenes?? I mean the one guy (not joe but the older guy, i forget his name) just switched sides pretty much out of nowhere.. also on an unrelated note, did anyone else find it got WAY stupid in the final battle where the mechs just randomly morphed into whatever the hell they were?
shareIt didn't bother me at all that there were some gaps. Maybe there are some things they want to reveal in a sequel. Interesting that Joe just wanders off to carry out some 'unfinished business' near the end of the game, and that's the last we see of him. I wonder what he got up to then :)
shareWell I didn't care much for the story. It's a Japanese anime-style war story, they do them like that.
And yeah, I agree with you about the final battle and the mechs. I LOVED how the mechs in this game where (sort of) realistic, with some actual weight, and how they fought with (somewhat) realistic weapons instead of laser sword and then ALL OF A SUDDEN NINJA MECHS WITH LASER SWORDS! Really ruined the ending for me. Still loved the game though.
