Agreed - you are an idiot. Human Giant is a great show.

Sure, Kids In The Hall were/are great. But all comedy does not begin and end with that show (or any other). Hell, Kids ripped off Monty Python. And Python ripped off The Goon Show. And so on and so on. It's like saying all bands suck because they're not The Beatles.

If this is a Kids in the Hall rip-off, then every other sketch comedy show since then must be a Kids in the Hall rip-off as well. And Saturday Night Live, although terrible now so I really can't defend it, must be still on the air since the mid 90's, when Kids ended, because it really just wants to somehow rip-off Kids in the Hall. Kids in the Hall was great, but other sketch comedies can be and really are great as well.

I think the poster meant that Human Giant's style was similar to KITH. KITH was much different than Monty Python and Mr. Show, which were two sketch shows many people compare. I enjoy Human Giant, and I love KITH. I do see some similarities but by no means would I say that Human Giant is ripping off KITH, it's a funny show with fresh jokes and concepts, just like KITH was 15-ish years ago.

Human Giant is the best sketch comedy show since season 3 of Mr. Show. You all know I am right.

Doesn't seem remotely close to Kids In The Hall.
Kids In The Hall was a pretty funny sketch-comedy show, but the humor doesn't seem anything like Human Giant.

Human Giant seems closer to Mr. Show if anything. Aziz Ansari reminds me quite a lot of David Cross in his own way (especially since both have ties with the Indie music culture).

Nonetheless, Human Giant has it's own perspective on humor and delivers it in its own way. I love it.

Both shows just happen to be sketch shows in the "absurdist" genre of comedy. I don't think they're trying to steal from anyone. These guys seem pretty geniune to me. Aziz could've been making a steady paycheck in marketing but he gave that up to do comedy.

I love jews,hipsters, and when I see a jewish hipster I pretty much explode cum!

Wow, I don't see that at all. I see Human Giant as more on par with MTV's The State which, for my money, was the best sketch comedy show in recent memory. Never cared for Kids in the Hall, but I think Human Giant is the most laugh out loud show on TV right now(although, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia comes super close).

They may be trying to be like Boys in the hall, but they are not pulling it off. There is a huge difference. The most important of these differences is that the cast of Kids was talented and their sketches were funny.

If this is a rip-off of "Kids in the Hall"... then I guess other shows like "The State", "Mr. Show" and "Upright Citizens Brigade" must be rip-offs as well... if that's true, then "Kids in the Hall" is a rip-off of "Monty Python's Flying Circus". Come on... are you retarded? Of course not, even a retarded person would know it's not a rip-off. It's just another sketch comedy show.
