They spent 500K pounds on this steaming pile of crap?

I am thinking that the figure IMDB has on it is either grossly exagerrated or the director pocketed most of the money. Because it surely did not go into production value.

There was definitely some embezzling going on.

I know the filmmakers didn't have a lot of money to work with, but I feel that their lack of a coherent vision, hurt the film even more.

Give me 500K dollars and I can make a far better film than Zombie Diaries.

I agree that there was no way this film cost $500K, because not even 1/4 of that amount is up on the screen.

Pounds Roger, they allegedly spent 500K pounds. That is roughly 1 million USD.

My bad. But that just makes the whole scenario even more mind-boggling.

Especially since I am working with a roughly 30K budget. Doing my best to save and still give a decent film.

Don't waste your money Doomtrooper. You won't make it back.

@Justin:

Right, Gates, because your film was a *beep* masterpiece, wasn't it? With it's lack of coherent plot, grade-D acting and camera work that could be mistaken for toilet clotter. Why don't you just give up?
