Terrible - acting wasn't bad by most of the actors but the storyline? Hot damn it was terrible, drawn out way way too long.
I disagree, I thought it was great ..... should make for a great DVD ... fingers crossed it comes out over here in Australia.

I watched the first 90 minutes then got bored. It got laughable as they took their wimpy power boat and surfed the massive tidal wave and went over the top of it. I was praying for a second one to come up right after that and suck them permanently under. Also, in the opening scene, those kids on the beach who saw the ocean water suck all the way back - com on!!! That's the basic nature of a tidal wave and a BIG warning that one is coming so you better hit the high roads! STUPID!
shareEver since the repeated many times videos of the December 26, 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, any time I watch a disaster movie with a tsunami/tidal wave in it where people are just standing around looking at the fast and massive outflow of sea water from a beach or are (even sillier) running around "Get a fish! We will cook it for dinner!", I tend to yell at the characters that that MASSIVE outflow of water is NOT normal and is a sign that there is going to be a tsunami extremely soon so you should get into the mountains ASAP preferably in a super fast jet.
