Fair t.v. movie of the week,why did Angus McFayden do this film

i just sat through this mini-series and found it to be just enough to keep me tuned in.nothing more.

why such a promising actor like Angus McFayden who's been in Braveheart,Kingdom Of Heaven,Red Line,Saw IV get himself involved in such a poor Fx movie of the week,i just saw him on a direct to dvd release IMPULSE that wasnt half bad either,why the t.v. miniseries??i think this whole thing is beneath him,these roles should be left for up and coming talent or has beens,not prime time players like Angus McFayden or to me he will always be

He's getting older and those roles were young characters, but you're right. He can do much better than this.

As far as I can tell he wasn't in Kingdom of Heaven.......

It's a decent TV movie, I was entertained by it. I watched the whole thing, unlike some movies where I skip ahead. It can be good for passing time or when you need to give your mind a rest. The lead actress is cute. As a TV movie, I rate it 7.5 out of 10.

As far as "why Angus McFadyen did this movie," I know little about Hollywood but I assume most acting careers have their ups and downs.
