It's not bad for a lawyer-friendly show...

What I mean by that is the drivers keep saying in front of the cameras "We're going 65." or "Slow down, let them burn there gas." To me, it's just obvious that Spike TV is making sure that they don't get sued for supporting illegal races. Explains why many U.S. distributors stay away from anything "rally" related nowadays....Destroy Entertainment is one of the few. And I'm sure that much of this stuff is staged, too....but that gas station with the computer problems may have been set up by the local cops. Hell, I'm just surprised that the Maloofs Bros. pulled this off...on a U.S. basic cable network, no less.

If you like this stuff like "Bullrun", go and Google "Extreme TV Gumball 3000" or just click that long ass link on the bottom. Please watch in order of episodes, and watch the '06 season (the best one) first because if you like that, you'll probably like (but maybe not as much) the '04 and '05 rallies as well.

The Gumball show sucked. The entire show was about two guys completing challenges that have nothing to do with the rally. They weren't even that entertaining either.

I'm sorry to hear that. I wasn't really paying attention to the challenges, nor was Alex Roy himself in the '06 rally. The challenges were there for viewers that needed goal-oriented situations than just fast cars (going fast) and the occasional funny bit. For me, fast cars was all I needed.
