Team Avalanche vs. Team Corvette?

A lot of episodes focused on the feud between Avalanche and Corvette. The last couple of episodes were pretty much the fight between both of them and who would get on top to throw the other one into the challenge.

Then, as the finale approached, it just died. I haven't seen anything, did they patch things up? Did they just let it go? All I saw was all 3 of them cheering "Final 3" in the second to last episode, and then applauding each other at the end, and Avalanche saying "they met some great people, even if "mohawk" threw him off," basically suggesting that the feud is resolved.

But they never said anything. They never showed anything... Goldberg didn't comment on it either. Just think it's rather stupid to focus a few episodes on that feud and rivalry, and when they reach the final, you don't even mention it...

Early in the season, the crew could focus on multiple cars and you could see multiple situations. Towards the end there is none of that. If the crew would have just bounced between the 3 cars of people "just driving" it would have been boring. Focusing on something out of the norm (like the feud) makes good TV and kills time. That's my take on that.

As for the feud itself, I imagine it was mostly fueled on tension. Pretty much to everyone in there, $100K is a lot of money and with that much money on the line, it creates a lot of stress that most people aren't prepared to deal with. It's not everyday that normal people are presented with a challenge to win a lot of money. Something ever-so-slight could easily trigger emotions (such as rage, anger) and turn into a fight only to be escalated by a few "Type A" personalities. Besides, dudes usually don't stay angry at each other for very long!

That's my opinion anyway.

You are missing my point. I'm not asking why the feud happened, or why they chose to show it.

My question was, why did it just die down without no mention? They focused a few episodes on it, then out of the blue, they just didn't mention it and the guys seemed ok...

Just saying it would have been nice to get a "conclusion" to it all.
