Don't waste your money!

One hour into the movie, as I type, and so far, it's not impressing me. Unless something really dramatic happens in the second half of the movie, I think it is safe to say this one is a dud. Don't waste your money (yeah, I know it's on tv, but it'll be at Blockbuster for rent in a matter of weeks, they always are). They've taken an interesting and enduring real American mystery and reduced it to a predictable, unimaginative and nigh mindless demonic ghost story, with 2nd rate acting (tolerable, but not admirable) and 3rd rate special effects. May the ghost of Virginia Dare rise up and haunt the writers of this film!

good thing it's on Sci-Fi.. that way no one's having to "waste money" on it. Also..noting that it IS a SCIFI Channel movie.. obviously you should realize they wouldn't have a "FULL HOLLYWOOD BUDGET", as it is, the movie is awesome visually, for what they had to work with.(Adrian Paul, afterall lol)

"Are you ALWAYS that stupid, or are we just lucky today?"

I know. I just titled it that way because these Sci-Fi Originals inevitably end up on the shelves at Blockbuster within a few weeks of premiering on tv. I agree about the visuals, the location is stunning. It's just the wraiths and the cgi are pretty abyssmal.

I mean it only gets worse, but fair is fair....what if Chuck Norris and The Hoff were in the next 30 minutes of the film....you'd feel bad then wouldn't you
