Is This Out On dvd?

i have been waiting for this movie to be released and yer from what i understand it isnt. i dont know enough about the dvd business to make and judgement but you would think they would self distribute at the very worse. it seems stupid to just make a movie have it show in a cinema for a week or 2 in capital cities then never release it beyond that.

i understood the short capital city run, you take a hit on the print and the cinema hire but even if you take a loss you get free press from people like empire that review it, and in cases of more arthouse stuff gets you noticed for the AFI's. what i dont get is after all that effort of booking out cinemas was nothing in place for the dvd side. why not stream it on itunes or something. it just seems stupid to put so much time and money into something and its now just sitting on a shelf with no audience.
