nicole kidman and penelope cruz

cheers I have a quick question, I was just wondering if Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz got along on the set considering there history together...I know there both very professional but still there had to be some kind of akwardness between them....I mean after all didn't Tom leave Nicole for Penelope? thanks in advance.....

I saw them on the Oprah special right before the film was released and they looked friendly, Kidman even had her arm around Penelope.
these are professional women not trailer trash hoes fighting for a man who's been long married to someone else.

Artists confident enough to put their work first usually bond with others who have the same priority. One doesn't allow personalities or pasts to get in the way of great work. On the other hand, chaos can be caused by those on a set or in a play who are only interested in themselves, their power, their money, and so on. Looks like the women of NINE really got on well together -- they ate, played, went to concerts together, and as Loren has said many times, "This is the only movie I've ever done where we all stay in touch, exchange our numbers -- we are friends."

Besides, why would Kidman dislike Cruz? It was Cruise who was the piehole in the matter. Blaming the "other person" only means that the one you're with is dumb or dishonorable enough to be manipulated, break all the vows the two of you made -- and lie bout it.

I don't know why people would think that Nic and Pene wouldn't like each other. They were both smart enough to leave Tom Cruise; that's enough for a lifetime bond.

I wondered the same thing, initially. But then I realized that Nicole probably spent the entire time thanking Penelope for taking that nut case off her hands.

you just gotta love these bitches (i'm sorry...)

It's pretty obvious they are over it. They are very friendly with each other. And they had about 3 months to work out that crap before shooting so....

Katie Holmes also auditioned for a role in the film. I'm glad she didn't get it because I think she's an atrocious actress, but it would've been weird if all three of them were in the same film.
It's obvious that Nicole and Penelope get a long, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a little awkward at first.

Please, those two probably had a laugh about what a lucky escape they had! Poor Katie!

What happens in the meadow at dusk? NOTHING!, EVERYTHING!

hah that would be awesome. There's a movie set Mr Cruise would NEVER be visiting. They'd all just call him Guido. Daniel Day Lewis could've just watched him sweating in the background for inspiration for his own character.

Anywho I think professionalism or not, the awkwardness melts when you share an ex with someone, no matter who left who.

"Ah. Multiple exclamation points, the true sign of a deranged mind."

Can someone explain, why so many times we see "there" written instead of "their"? It is distracting and makes me wonder, if I should continue reading material probably written by a poorly read or lazy or slow learning person. Perhaps there's a new trend I don't know of?

It is the internet. Intelligence is not expected.
