Whats with the low rating? should be 7.5 atleast

This was a great movie with great performances from all actors involved I absolutely loved it and thought it was great in my opinion. there are lesser movies rated higher than this and that ain't right

Don't worry, I too liked crap when I was 12.

yer the typical condescending comment, funny how I'm suddenly 12 and your opinion on a film is suddenly gods word. I liked it, I like films, you didn't like it that's your business.

Perfectly put. And since more people didn't like it than liked it, it's got a low rating.

Didn't ike it or didn't "get it"? If you asked them how much they knew about Feliini or his work, you'd be surprised. How many Tonys did NINE win for the original production on the Broadway stage and its later revival?

I, for one, didn't like it although I got it fine. The stage show is a masterpiece, the film was a disappointment. There were a few parts (the opening, “My Husband Makes Movies,” “Be Italian,” “Guarda la Luna”) that were stunning and I wish the rest of the film lived up to those moments.

At the same time, you're the one who opened a thread to say people should like the movie because you like it too. So you can't now berate someone for commenting on your liking the movie. You opened yourself to it by asking people to agree with you.

I enjoyed the film too. It's funny because I work in creative industry and one of my friends is a feature film director, and we agreed that this film very accurately describes our personal creative crisis. I can understand why Nine isn't for everyone and why many people found it boring, but I don't think that it is essentially a bad film.

Your last line in your comment explains the answer you're seeking. You think it's great. Others think it's not so great yet you feel other films that you find distasteful (or at least "not so great") are rated higher but you didn't like them as much as they did and only your opinion matters (based on your last line), and it should therefore have a better rating.

I gave it a 6/10 when I first saw it. I'm currently watching it right now and I feel the rating I gave it is deserving because where as I enjoy the musical numbers the in between storyline doesn't really seem to move the story along; it seems as if it's just dragging itself to the next musical number.

To you, I'm most likely wrong in my opinion because it doesn't equate to your opinion, and that's why this has such a lower rating: because your opinion isn't just recognized--other opinions are; some the same as yours, some higher, most more around my viewpoint (in rating, not opinion).

And that's with any movie.

You forgot: people who love the stage musical and were disappointed by the movie adaptation. That's me.

The performances were good since all the actors are very good, but then you have the awful screenplay that was really boring and had no depth.
