My Biggest Gripe

Overall, I enjoyed Tazza, but I do have a gripe. With international distribution accounting for a big chunk of change that studios make, a slight modification would have been helpful. Using standard playing cards so the audience knew what they were looking at would have helped, and a well know game like blackjack or poker might have made the card playing more understandable and interesting for the viewer.

Yeah, damn other countries. Why can't they cater everything to Americans?!

reply

yeah, they should teach us a little about how to play that card, I dont really understand but I can see that the bigger number win.

Not everyone knows how to play poker or blackjack either. The only card game I've ever played is Mau Mau, a German game, and I've pretty much forgotten the rules. That doesn't keep me from enjoying Hollywood-made gambling movies though. Or Westerns, for that matter. Almost every Western has a poker game scene, and I've never had a problem figuring out what's going on even though I don't know the rules. Same with this movie.
