Is it released?

I've seen every Petrov's movie except The Cow (Where could I find it?) and this one. Is it released?

Yes, it is, but I think only in a few places so far. You can see some of his commercial work (which is just as beautiful) over here:

I especially love the "Pitcher Plant" video that was created for the Canadian province of Newfoundland/Labrador - it is absolutely stunning.

There's an excerpt from "My Love" on the website too. It looks beautiful, and apparently it won at the 2006 International Animation Festival in Hiroshima, Japan. The voice actors are brilliant, and this looks like one film which you will definitely enjoy more if you know Russian. I am normally supportive of subtitles, but here looking at them is a big distraction.

I've only been able to find his film "The Old Man and the Sea", personally - there's a French DVD (see discussion in one of the other Petrov boards) which has all of his films up to that film, but has only French subtitles. The English version of the DVD, which has the same cover art, only has "The Old Man and the Sea" along with the live-action sequence that it was released with.

I'm still waiting for a DVD release of Petrov's other works with English subtitles, so I can show them to my non-Russian-speaking friends. Maybe one will be released after this film. I certainly hope so!

I knew that his work looked familiar, before I saw his films. I saw all those commercials. I also get the feeling that he animated those Charmin Ultra commericals with mama bear and her cub.
