Clearly a flubbed line. Charlie Crews addressed Ted Earely as his real name - "Adam, I've made a decision...." concerning swimming with naked woman. But in the quotes for IMDB it says "Dad, I've made a decision...".
Huh, I've watched that episode at least 4 times and I always assumed he said "Ted, Ive made a decision...".

shareI just wanted to point out that this line opens my favorite sequence in the show - in the broadcast version, Honeyhoney's "Little Toy Gun" plays while Charlie talks to the badge bunnies and Reese flirts with the Captain... leading up to the scene where they serve the warrant on the guy with the tiger. ("You must be Fluffy")
