Could be remade

The scene where he first sees through the wolf's eyes made you think this may have promise, especially when the lights were turned off.

Then started having the wolf's memories, as if eyes contain brains, and it jumped the shark.

You see with your brain. The eyes BEND light. The brain takes the light reflected off of objects and forms images. Everything that you're seeing is inside your head, not stored in your eyes.

Instead of trying to make this a horror, the guy should've been helping the cops solve a mystery or something, not remembering what the wolf saw, as if he had the wolf's brain.
