Sci-Fi Channel puts out some swill but this truly takes the cake. The ending blows but the odds of anyone sticking it out for that long are slim. I did and I'm ashamed that I wasted two hours of my life.

I thought it jumped the shark about the time he started to play the drums, LOL, horrible. Total shame, they had a good base plot, they should have gone with a real werewolf story.

I shudder to think what other movies you have seen that were not a 10!!! The plot of this piece of junk was both thin and rediculous; the end sucked like nothing else; and the acting from EVERYBODY was HORRID!!!!!
And I agree that Tinsel Korey, while she's seriously hot, can't act to save her life. Her music kinda sucks too.
I thought the movie was great as well and you would catch movies like this on USA UP ALL NIGHT back in the day. I miss USA UP ALL NIGHT when USA Network was a lot cooler and more open minded compared to what they are now with those dull and boring crime and drama shows that they show in marathons.

That was a GOD awful movie. If that is the best that Tinsel Korey can get acting wise she might as well give it up and go do something else with her life.
And like all these dirtbag movies they throw in a sex scene that had nothing to do with the movie whatsoever.

The plot was weak, the music sucked, the acting sucked, the ending sucked, minimal violence, minimal action, minimal emotion...how is this even a "horror" movie? Sci Fi has really effed up their movies, nothing is scary just sad...so sad a high school student movie could top this. It isn't even a sci fi movie...just...bad. Bad from the start, bad to the end.

Yeah, this film has no redeeming features. None at all. I loves me some B-grade trash, but this turkey can only dream of rising to such lofty heights. It's not even entertainingly bad. It's just plain bad.
Suspension of disbelief? The plot of Hard Rock Zombies was easier to swallow.
Script? It does to a reasonably interesting, if somewhat silly premise what William Shatner did to Tambourine Man. Or possibly what Dr Frankenstein does to that guy's gallbladder in Flesh For Frankenstein.
Direction? Was the film meant to be scary? Uplifting? A psychological thriller? A cautionary tale? I give up.
Also, the Discovery Channel called. They want their stock footage back.
Entertainment value? I'd like my AU$2.00 and 86 minutes back, please.

The beginning looked promising....but my god, what a terrible movie. I felt like tearing my own eyes out.

I saw this with a friend and proposed they do a sequel. In it, a man gets a pig's heart valve and then starts to oink and wallow in the mud. Soon he has psychic control over pigs. We'll call it HYBRID II: REVENGE OF THE BACON.

Horrible movie. The worst in the Maneater series (did they really have to force the maneating scene just to keep it on topic?).
I have a feeling that the script was good. It's just that the people who got the job of making the movie really was incompitent.
And the cuts was just horrible. Half the movie was like a recap of an old 90's TV-series.
yeah, they should stick with sharks, snakes and aligators
