Strange coincidence that a few years later

...the 3 female leads in this film, all predominantly known for comedy by this point, would have a strong presence at the 2012 Oscars: both Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer would be nominated for Best Supporting Actress (Octavia winning) and Missi Pyle would star in that year's Best Picture winner, The Artist.

Meaningless trivia but I'm fascinated by the dots.
