Me too, Kelda. Very disappointed to see that although the London Film Festival is on very soon (next week) Salute doesn't seem to be amongst the offerings.

I was thinking the same, but guess it'll probably involve waiting for a dvd release.

It's a wonderful story and I commend Matt Norman for wanting to tell his uncle's side of things. I just wish his film had been able to do what this article does. That is, focus on the Peter Norman story without getting sidetracked by overlong interludes involving the American Civil Rights and Black Power movements, as this has already been covered. Unfortunately after watching this 2 hour doco, in many ways Peter still seems like the peripheral figure history has usually deemed him to be.

I think the film needed to be shorter, more tightly edited with a greater focus on Norman himself and less intrusions, with the greatest respect, from Smith, Carlos and other extraneous talking heads.🐭
