Angry wanking? Vague Gothery?

It is not often that after viewing a film i have to take a minute to reflect on my own life. The movie is art, but a different kind of art. One that transcends the actual presented work. I'm talking about the art of the whole process of this movie being made. The whole arc of hiring the sound guys, the drivers, the actors, the light technicians, etc, etc. The going ons of the actual production of this film, when looked at as a whole, was powerful indeed.

I believe that good art gives you a feeling, an emotion. And in that respect i will have to say that Quench is, to me, a substantial piece of art. This movie made me hurt in a whole new way that i've never experienced.

After finishing this movie i thought to myself, "wow. zach parker made a movie. Someone gave him 40,000 to make a movie. What am i doing with my life? I should be making movies...etc etc" This was very depressing

but then surpisingly uplifting after a few hours after watching. Because another way of looking at the situation was, "Wow! Zach Parker made a movie!". Which is, if he can get funded than perhaps i might be able to.

But I'm wondering, is he just indepently semi-wealthy, or does he know someone who is, or what? How did this happen? Who paid for this movie?

but all hoighty toighty flashy witticisms aside, this movie is probably one of the worst movies that is available for purchase on dvd.

(By the way, the feverish angry masturbation scene is the most ridiculously bad scene i've come across since the weightlifting scene in Double Trouble.)
