USING THE WRONG PROPS!

The police car in this film is a VZ Commodore - funny this, seeing as this murder took place in 2001... the VZ Commodore did not start production until early 2005.

reply

lol yeah I noticed that.

Also, the power points are wrong if she was in England for some of the scenes. Also, I'm reasonably sure I saw a policeman with an M16....I don't think they use those..I'm pretty sure it should have been an AR-15

reply

i saw it too M16 bloody dickheads

Also, judges in the Northern Territory are called 'Your Worship', not 'Your Honour'.

I used to work for NT Police and knew a few people who were being portrayed... unfortunately I missed the start.

reply

Judges in the NT are called "Your Honour", same as everywhere else. Magistrates were all called "Your Worship" at the time of this case, although that has now changed to "Your Honour" in some places.

I, too, used to work in a legal capacity in the NT, although well before the Falconio case. The portrayals of Wild QC and McGregor, Acting Stipendiary Magistrate, are laughable when you know the parties concerned. The characters in this production are different people entirely.

reply

submit it to the "goofs" section.

i also saw one of the patrons in the bar when they lead joanne in to talk to the police near the beginning wearing and "8 mile - eminem" t-shirt which wasnt released at the movies until nearly a year and a half later

reply

wow, ummm...get a life, perhaps ?

reply

Holdens rust pretty quickly.

In any case there was not much difference in the shape and design of Commodores
between 1997 and 2005.
