The cell phone in the suitcase...*spoilers*

When Sarah finally finds the bus with the suitcases in it, she opens one of the suitcases and calls one of the missing girls mom using the cell phone that was in the case. This bothered me because wouldn't the cell phone battery be dead? I mean that girl had been missing for a while. I know with my cell phone, even if I don't use it for a while, the charge starts to run down.

Also, what was with the policeman acting all shady? Maybe I missed something, but why was he being such a jerk if he wasn't involved?

She belongs to you...You took her life and gave her a new one, a life extraordinary.

Yeah, I caught that too. I just watched it last night. He was being a jerk even though he wasn't even involved with Jillian's disappearance because when Sara had gone to him for help, he didn't want to bother doing anything, and she confronted him about messing around with a minor (his "arrangement" he suggested at the cemetery). He basically felt threatened because she seemed to imply she would tell on him.

The cop and Jillian obviously had a thing going before he confronted them in the cemetery. Jillian basically rejected him in front of Sarah, who brought it up when she went to him for help later. Re/her comments about having sex with a minor being rape were a veiled threat to tell on him. That's when he got ugly with her.

As far as the cell phone goes, I'm not sure about that other missing girl's phone, but creepy villain guy had been using Jillian's for a while to contact Sarah, no? At least that's how I remember it... so maybe she had the charger with her when he found her. I tend to keep mine in my purse lol maybe that's weird

just sayin.

As another poster said, someone had been using Jilian's phone to contact Sarah, so must have charged it fairly recently.

Tomorrow's just your future yesterday!

But he kept said phone in Jillian's suitcase, in a bus? That guy really sucks at hiding evidence.

I wasn't think abut the battery but good point, I was nod serving why after 5 years the service was still active, I mean when her mom said she calls it every now and the n I asked that very ? Bc 5 years is a long time to keep paying a bill and no one (cops etc) seemed to care so wasnt them keeping it on, and the mom didnt look that responsible or to have $ to afford that, however it's a movie so I guess stupid to even ? It, but yea now that you mention it that's an even better point, how was the phone charged and who the hell is paying the bill!!?! Other than that I loved the movie, yea it's a run of the mill tv type flick but I liked it
