Seasons.

Are there only 2 seasons or are there more? I've been to a couple websites and some are saying that there were a couple episodes of a 3rd seasons but I'm not sure if that's true or not. Does anyone know?

You have two choices in life: you can laugh or you can cry. Which will you choose?

There are only two seasons. The "third season" you see people referring to is the 2008 OVA "Fighting Wings". It was a two episode anniversary special based on the "Angel Eater" arc in the manga. Technically, as it was animated, voiced, and pretty much fits in, with the same staff and crew of the first two seasons it is considered canon to the series.

The director of "Ah! My Goddess" is currently working on the Evangelion movies in Japan so it is unknown if there ever will be a real third season. After Evangelion 4.0, we'll probably begin to hear more rumors or information. Suffice to say, at the moment the director greatly wishes to do another season, but it's up in the air.

Your response should be stickied or something because it is completely correct and answers a frequently asked question.

I just wish they would release Fighting Wings over here.

a very late answer, but there is Megamisama: Sorezore no Tsubasa with two seasons (24 episodes). It's not really a 3rd season of this one, but it is the continuation of the story still. Much like Kanon and Kanon: After Story or Naruto and Shippuuden if you want.

I'm watching it right now and have to say everyone that loves this series should watch Sorezore no Tsubasa. If you are lucky you can find it with english subtitles.
