Fang + Bug

Why was Fang so nasty too Bug all the time, its not like it was his fault he was born, you would think given what happened she would want to protect her little brother not terrorise him!

"I'll set my course by you my northern star"

Everything bad in her life just happened to coincide with his birth, basically. If their dad hadn't gone so manic for another couple of months, then she probably wouldn't have thought that he was at fault.

I think you've got to bear in mind that she was 3 when it all happened, so she's probably got quite a distorted view of what happened. To be honest, I agree that she shouldn't have been blaming him, but I suppose she needed someone to blame.

not to mention there was something wrong with her back then

if you re watch the movie right after the police shoot the dad before he can kill her the cop starts talking to her and in a creepy voice she tells the cop to leave her alone as if he had possessed her

She's in high school when she's physically beating the sh-t out of her brother because he was born on the wrong day  And the irrational blame stuff is meant to make us sympathize with her rather than want to gut her ourselves, kinda botched that

Seriously. The fact this was supposed to make us not hate that bitch was downright ludicrous. I wanted her dead more than before after it
