I missed the last 10 minutes when this aired on Denver, CO television last night. How did it end???

I don't know what scene you saw up to...but Munster went to the university to talk to the professor who wrote the thesis (that the "snob" told them about earlier) about the novels in question. When he got to her office, Maarten the murder was there. Turns out the professor was his wife, the woman he strangled in the first scene. He tells Munster he'll give him all his wifes notes on Fist, which are in the basement. While Maarten is on a ladder "retrieving" the notes, Munster notices he is wearing the thatched shoes he saw through the post slot. They fight, Munster's arm is slashed and he fatally stabs Maartan. Maarten stumbles out of the building and bystanders come to his aid. The last scene is of him returning the office with renewed confidence. Eva tells him Jaan is gone and he apologizes for interfering with their relationship. She then teases him and asks if he wants to know why she didn't tell Jaan that Munster told her Jaan was seeing others. He said no, then chased her out of the office to find out why...:)

Thanks! I saw just up to the point the two men were sitting in the car discussing Munster's psychological problems after having been nearly stabbed to death some time earlier. This was just after Munster had emptied his gun in the darkened room after having discovered the body of the goth girl. I find this an interesting bit of foreshadowing: Here we have a man who had been nearly killed with a knife and he finds himself in the climactic battle of the movie...in a knife fight!

I wondered why the police never looked up Fist to begin with? Why not check with the publisher for more information in general? Wouldn't the police have done that before going door to door in the hope that a wide net might catch the one fish they were looking for?
