Surprisingly, this worked for me.
Yes, as another poster said, the acting was really on point, well played by every one of them.
Usually it bugs the sh#% out of me when I don't understand what is going on but this had Picnic at Hanging Rock http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073540/ vibe to it so I was intrigued enough to follow it when it got bizarre. The whole movie was low tech and the pace sometimes meandered. Yet, I thought the the whole crew: director, cinematographer, actors, editor put something together that unexpectedly entertaining.
It isn't your standard thriller or horror though, it was more a tour in the mind of the main character.
