Why did the Prince not have a crest? Apparently he was Cartagia's son, but that doesn't mean that he wouldn't have the signifying crest. And also he had NO crest what so ever. Even Cartagia had a small crest.
shareBecause he's a low ranking member of royalty and very young. The crests get bigger as they get older and are better established among the rest of the royalty.
Also in the series, Emperor Cartagia pioneered a short crest as a bit of a fad, so maybe some of that carried over to his son.
His clothing certainly made up for lack of crest, pretty ornate.
