SPOILER (not as if it matters!) --JULIE AND THE BABY

Okay, I truly think this director didn't know what he wanted out of this movie... how does the bloody ghost fit into this damn story? What was the point? So the main guy (what ever his name was) coincidentally moves next door to a crazy lady whose dead baby sister is apparently haunting her, and then his own baby's death has nothing to do with it?

Whatever, my question is... did Julie kill the baby, or was he just sick? I think she killed it. What do you think?

I think it was Julie after she died. The left side of her face was the part affected (as well as her left arm) and that was the side of her body face down in the ravine.

The movie's making more sense now . . . Maybe!!!
I agree with the Julie theory.
I think she killed the baby before he came back and the baby was unresponsive. The unresponsive baby actually was dead and Julie didn't appear in the room until he tried to wake the baby.
Course, the whole left side theory works too. Isn't that the arm he pulled the long splinter out of?
I think I've watched the movie 3 or 4 times now. Maybe someday I'll figure it out.
I miss "The Sixth Sense" red clues though. Cause I certainly am missing any clues given!!!

How could you not get this? It's not that confusing. The climax of the movie is when he comes back and sees the baby is not breathing. He believes the baby is dead and then all of a sudden the baby starts to cry and breath again, then Julie appears in the room. He asks her where she went but she doesn't respond. Everything that happened after the baby dieing is his imagination, he couldn't accept the truth that his wife sufficated the baby ( hence the necklace on top of the blanket and the blanket on top of the baby ), and has then gone out to jump off the cliff. There is soo many clues at the end of back flashes to help the audience out with this, actually too many flash backs!

I just saw part of this movie today. And I was wondering what the old woman "Helen" and her deceased baby sister had to do with the plot.

SHOCK ME, SHOCK ME, SHOCK ME, with that deviant behavior!

pretty sure it was just him reaching for answers, 'if there's another dead person then what really happened couldn't have happened' type reasoning.
