Most depressing movie ever?

I don't know about you guys, but just thinking about both this movie and Nymphomaniac (parts 1 and 2) get me depressed. I guess you can say he is an effective filmmaker, because both films have had a significant emotional impact on me, even if in a negative, depressive way. I know it's called his depression trilogy for a reason. I have yet to see Meloncholia. I'm not sure if I'm ready for another one of his films. They are hard to take. Both films make me feel very negatively about men, and consequently, myself. Just thinking about these films yesterday got me down.

I'm still not sure it's a more depressing film than Leaving Las Vegas or Affliction. All 3 films are very depressing to me. All 3 films (4 if you include Nymphomaniac) are up there for most depressing movies ever.

Feel free to list other depressing films you feel are as depressing as this one. I certainly have not seen every depressing movie, I don't make a point to watch them. I'm sure I missed some.

If you're looking for depressive movies like Antichrist and Nymphomaniac, try Enter The Void. I found it to be quite intense and it will make you think about life itself. Also A Serbian Film was imo deep, not just disturbing as many people would describe it, but the actual plot.. I really liked it, I watched it 3 times.

His other movie, Dancing in the Dark was very sad as well. I don't like any other musicals except that one, and Bjork did an amazing job. I remember reading that she said she would never do anything like that again because her role made her so depressed.
