G4, STOP THIS AT ONCE!!

g4 tv sucks big time. the network is now completly unwatchable. there two shows that show any hint that it used to be a video game/computer channel are so bad and so full of themselves, its mind numbing.

Attack of the show has gotten so retarted, so anoying, its pure crap. I mean, common i gota sit though 20 minunts of dumb jokes to hear a 3 sec clip about somthing i can read 4 pages about on the internet? plz.

as for XPLAY...XGAY is more like it. They took a good game review show hosted by adam sesler, added morgan webb strictly for sex appeal (not that im complaning, its just, i kinda find it hard to believe a georgous woman like her spends all her time playing video games) and turned adam into a moron and tell more lame ass jokes then review games! Moronic

I miss leo laporte.. i miss tech tv, i miss great shows like the screen savers, call for help, and i forget the name of it, but the game review with the two guys who just gave there honest oppion on the games, without acting like complete idiots.

Well, G4TechTV Canada is a slight inch better, since we don't get all the "spike"-crap and have some shows like Electric Playground and Reviews on the Run, which actually still deal with nothing but gaming. Plus we still get to see Leo Laporte.
XPlay really has devolved into a running boob-joke, probably peaking out at Morgan Webb's sextips for geeks... too embarrassing to be so lame that it's funny again. And the Bloomberg-like plastering of those idiotic chat-rooms all over the screen gives it the final gutshot.
It's weird that there is no other channel that would have the guts to fill the void, you'd think with a gaming industry peaking in the billions, there would be a "CNN for Games" possible, it's not like the money for that is lacking.
I remember that France has or had a channel called Game One, not sure if it exists anymore. Game One really focused on the purest aspect of games with such cheap-to-produce but still interesting shows like "First Level", where a developer plays through the first level of a game or nights of nothing but game-trailers, video-sequences or intros.
A channel like that shouldn't cost a network more than putting some unfunny cardboard cutouts on the air like the ones G4 employs right now.
I wouldn't hold my breath for it, but it sounds more likely than G4 ever returning back to be more than softcore geekporn for 12 year olds.
