Question about the effects of their methods?

I see only 4 ways these tests could end in the long run 1)They could reimprison themselves in a different place and new environment. Almost like they never left. 2)They could become the person they hated and continue the cycle 3)They could become psychotic manics from the torture 4)Be perfectly normal.

Do you think these methods of isolating and breaking a person down to rebuild them could work?

These techniques work better than you would imagine. I had a friend who was sent to a "boot camp" style place, but it was a good one and even that one worked. The brainwashing techniques they use are quite powerful. For example one thing they glossed over is they basically starved the kids of meat and constantly fed them carbs. This in combination with way above average exertion (which you can have because you are constantly loading up on carbs) gets rid of your minds will to fight back. That plus peer pressure, fear of abuse and needing to at least pretend to go with the program to get out, etc. will eventually lead to it working. Just like cults.

im sorry but these methods DO NOT WORK AT ALL extensive studies have been done and prove they do not work at all

They "work" like cramming for a test works, or rote memorization of multiplication tables makes it appear you know multiplication.
sure you can whip out that 12x12 is 144, but 12x13, something you didn't memorize.... you flounder.

It's the same thing. These kids are broken down, brainwashed to act right out of fear, and pain... so they do, but it usually will lead to larger problems later.
